My Personal Message Welcome,Thanks, or rather, congratulations for visiting this page. We (James Doyle, Colm Lauder and the McMahon brothers Ed and PJ) are a team of the 2009 Mongol Rally, Vagabonds of the Eastern World. The Mongol Rally is a charity event which involves driving a small car, roughly 1.2 litre, from the event starting point in Goodwood, to the capital of Mongolia, Ulan Bator. There are four members of the team to fit into the car, which should make it a comfortable 10,000 mile journey. The Mongol Rally begins on 18th July and we expect it will take about 5 or 6 weeks. We are driving a 2000 VW Polo estate Raising a minimum of £(stg)1,000 for an official rally charity is part of the terms of the rally, however we hope to raise much more, and that's where you come in. About my charity The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation is an international partnership of people dedicated to serving children in need of emergency and long-term medical care, nutritional rehabilitation, educational opportunities, vocational training and job placement, as well as children at risk of sexual and economic exploitation. The Foundation seeks to maximise the potential of each child.
