My Personal Message
Hey Guys,
Thanks for visiting Redfm's Wear Red to Work campaign Page. All funds from this campaign will go toward the ChildAid Kwe Njenga School project.
Kwe Njenga is a primary school located in Mukuru slum, Nairobi. ChildAid have been supporting this project for ten years, and have built classrooms and kitchens, installed a proper sewerage system and provided desks and other neccesary equipment. Currently the school houses 2,000 students and ChildAid have detailed plans to expand the school again, and so offer the opportunity of education and nourishment to even more needy children.
Your support will be invaluable in ensuring these plans come to fruition so, on behalf of all at ChildAid and the children we support, thank you for helping. |
About my charity
CHILDAID
Childaid is a charity for CHILDREN. We fund and support projects on the ground in Africa that improve the living conditions and welfare of disadvantaged children, with particular emphasis on education. We believe that the long term solution to the African problem lyes in empowering future generations to make their own decisions, and work closely with children who reside in slum areas. To date we have given thousands of children access to education, and so helped raise their expectations of life. We raise funds by organising group treks to Kilimanjaro, Everest and other attractive destinations, ensuring that trekkers are given a first hand experience of the projects their funding assists. Our trips therefore have a unique mix of hands on experience, mountains, trekking, and that great Irish tradition "plenty of Craic" We run trips to Mount Kenya (Mar), Kilimanjaro (Aug), and Everest Base Camp (Oct/Nov) each year. Details of these treks can be viewed on our website, in the event listings section of this site, or by contacting our office on 021 4222985
