About us
Those who know us well will know that we have never been runners. There had been brief flirtations before with the treadmill, but never a serious relationship. In May, we decided to do a little life-changing. No more exercising in fits and starts before returning once more to sedentary living. We would become fit, fast and fabulous and this time, never look back.

Joining a race seemed like a great motivator, and while we were at it, it seemed only right that we try to raise a little money for a really worthwhile charity. So this September, we're going to complete the Cork Womens Mini Marathon to raise funds for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, who are also in the business of doing a little life-changing.

IGDB receive approximately 85% of their income through donations and fundraising, and it costs over €38,000 to breed, train and support a guide dog partnership. It may take a few races, but knowing that we're working towards funding a guide dog partnership will definately keep us off the couch!
