My Personal Message Hey Guys,Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page. I will be riding the Tour of Ireland Challenge in 2009. It is about 1,000kms in five days. Details can be found on http://www.tourofireland.eu/. I have never attempted anything as big as this previously, so it will be some challenge. I have now completed the ride. It was a fantastic experience. The support I have received so far was a great encouragement. The fundraising doesn't stop here. If you wish to make a retrospective sponsorship, I will very much appreciate it. So come on, it's a very worthy cause. As a leading member of the Red Cross movement and a former member of the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team, I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Service - Wicklow's Mountain Rescue Service, which is a unit of the Irish Red Cross. I am specifically looking to raise funds for the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Service's new Rescue Base at Kilafin, Trooperstown near Laragh. All monies raised through this page will be used to help to complete this project. More information about the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Service can be found on www.wicklowmountainrescue.ie. Please read a few words about the Irish Red Cross below. The Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team provides 24hr Mountain Rescue cover for the Wicklow Mountains.
