My Personal Message
Hey Guys,
Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page. The Martin Codyre Fund is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity.
As most of you are aware by now Martin fell while we were at a wedding last August and suffered a sudden and devastating spinal cord injury. He has been left paralysed from the chest down and will require 24 hour care and assistance for the rest of his life.
It has been a very difficult time for Martin as well as those who are closest to him. However, through it all Martin’s strong spirit and love for life has shone through. What we need to focus on now is raising the funds that will be necessary for Martin to lead a fulfilling and happy life once he leaves the NRH.
Dad has kindly donated his offices on Pembroke St, Dublin 2 to me for Saturday, 25th April to host a fundraiser for Martin. Dinner drinks and entertainment from the wonderful Keynotes will be provided, as well as a luxury draw and a raffle. It hopes to be a great night.

About my charity
The Martin Codyre Fund
On Saturday August 16th, while at a friend’s wedding in Westmeath, Martin Codyre 33, from Bray, Co. Wicklow fell and suffered a sudden and devastating spinal cord injury which has left him completely paralysed from the chest down. Prior to this tragic accident Martin was an active, sociable character who enjoyed rugby, skiing, mountain biking and had a huge passion for travelling.
On the day of his accident, Martins life, and that of his family and friends was changed forever, but most importantly Martin is still alive and with us and his renowned kind nature and infectious sense of humour are ever present. If you are interested in supporting The Martin Codyre Fund by donating today or getting involved in our fundraising events we would be delighted to hear from you. You can visit the website www.themartincodyrefund.com or contact Brian Codyre directly on 087 675-6119
