The Amnesty International charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity. Just because I've reached the target doesn't mean you can't still donate - it's a really good cause. Amnesty still nedd your help. I'm really looking forward to doing the 3 day trek in Scotland. It takes place on the bank holiday weekend in May 2007 so I've started training for the trek - as I don't want to be paddy last!! The trek takes place in Loch Lomond in western / central Scotland. Trek Scotland will consist of a group of 50 participants from Ireland taking on the challenge of trekking (or trekking and cycling) for 3 consecutive days. About my charity We are ordinary people from all around the world standing up for humanity and human rights. Our purpose is to protect individuals and communities wherever justice, fairness, freedom and other human rights are denied. Every year, for example, millions of children die because of easily cured diseases caused by dirty water. People are thrown in prison simply for what they believe. Guns are sold into the hands of abusers. Torture is carried out behind closed doors. Women are raped as a weapon of war.
