My Personal Message
Hey Guys,
Thanks for visiting the Run with Tina fundraising page. I chose Barretstown as our charity to support because I was very touched and impressed by the amazing work they do by giving sick children, who have spent a lot of their life in hospitals and unable to take part in normal childhood activities, a chance to be a kid for a while. Through recreational therapy, the children's confidence is improved and their self-belief is restored.
Every year, Barretstown has to raise €5 million to be able to provide children in Ireland and all across Europe this wonderful opportunity. I won't be able to raise anywhere near that much, but I hope that with the support of my clients and friends, we'll be able to help at least one child to get to go to Barrestown Castle next summer.
From October 2011, an extra €5 will be added to all our course fees - this €5 will go to Barretstown.
From January 2012, all profits from our running clubs will go to Barrestown.
We will also have events and other fundraising initiatives, so keep your eyes on the website www.runwithtina.com and Facebook www.facebook.com/runwithtina. .
Please read more about Barrestown below and donate whatever you can.
You can donate using the "sponsor me now" button below via credit or debit card. You can be assured that your transaction on the mycharity.ie website is very secure. You will automatically receive an e-mail from me thanking you for your support, and acknowledging the amount of your donation. Any donation no matter how small is hugely appreciated.
Many thanks in advance for your support,
Tina
