My Personal Message Hey Guys,St. Luke's Hospital cancer care and research is a very worthy cause. I have personally seen the great work they do for their patients and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity. St Lukes Hospital is a leading hospital for cancer treatment in Ireland and helps patients from all over the country. They hope to use the funds from this years mini marathon fundraising to purchase a high dose radiation machine, a new CT simulator/scanner and to refurbish their x-ray department. About my charity The Friends of St Luke’s Hospital was established in 1981 to raise much needed funded for St Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar, Dublin 6. St Luke’s Hospital is Ireland’s main radiotherapy centre, treating cancer patients from all over the country. The Friends of St Luke’s relies entirely on voluntary contributions and fundraising events organised by our patients, families and friends. St Luke’s is regarded as more than a health care institution. It has set the standards in radiation oncology and is a world-class centre for the delivery of radiotherapy.
