My Personal Message We did the Santa Swim in aid of St Michael's House this morning (Sunday, 15 November) and it took us less than an hour to swim the total 204 lengths!A big Thank You to all our supporters online and offline who helped us to reach our target. Nevertheless: YOU CAN STILL SUPPORT US AND DONATE MONEY ONLINE! We want to lend Santa and his reindeer a hand to cover the distance from the North Pole to Dublin in time for Christmas;) So how does the Santa Swim raise money for St Michael's House? The Santa Swim consists of 204 lengths in a 25m pool. The idea is that we swim the lengths and you donate money to the charity in recognition of our accomplishment. We would really appreciate any donation no matter how small or big to raise funds for a very worthy cause. There are 9 "reindeer postgrad swimmers": Dasher swims 1 length (Bogdan Ciubotaru) Dancer swims 4 lengths (Zhenhui Yuan) Prancer swims 8 lengths (Esben Bang Andersen) Vixen swims 16 lengths (Midori Tatsumi) Comet swims 20 lengths (Michal Pluska) Cupid swims 25 lengths (Sylwester Latkowski) Donner swims 30 lengths (Sabine Moebs) Blitzen swims 40 lengths (Lisa Jensen) Rudolph swims 60 lengths (Marian Flanagan) Please leave a message in the comment box if your donation recognizes one of the reindeer in particular ;) We have set a target of 1000€ - but wouldn't it be great if we could exceed that?
