My Personal Message

Hey Guys,

Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page. The Irish Cancer Society charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity. All funds raised will go to Cancer Research Ireland, a programme of the Irish Cancer Society.

Starting May 28th, I, Mark Heverin, will climb to the highest point in each of the 32 counties and cycle the 1200 miles between them in 24 days. This is a tribute to my dad who died of cancer last August as well as an effort to raise funds for cancer research to help create a more hopeful future for those affected directly and indirectly by the disease.

Please read a few words about the charity that I have chosen to support below. You can donate using the "sponsor me now" button below via credit or debit card. You can be assured that your transaction on the mycharity.ie website is very secure. You will automatically receive an e-mail from me thanking you for your support, and acknowledging the amount of your donation. Irish Cancer Society

The Irish Cancer Society is the national charity dedicated to preventing cancer, saving lives from cancer and improving the quality of life of those living with cancer through patient care, research and education.

The Society is financed entirely by voluntary contributions from the public and receives no government funding. We rely on thousands of dedicated volunteers from around the country to help with our fundraising activities. We are the largest voluntary funders of Cancer Research in Ireland, and we also provide support and nursing care for people at every step of their cancer journey.
