My Personal Message
Hey Guys,
This page is set-up for one of our Dublin Simon residents in NCR, Paul Ronan. Paul is running the Dublin City Marathon this year and is hoping to raise money for his registration and running kit. Any extra money raised will go to the Dublin Simon Community and back into the services that have assisted Paul, and thousands of others, move out of homelessness. This is a really worthy cause and we want to help Paul achieve his aim of running the marathon. Thank you to everyone who is going to help us do this.
You can donate to Paul using the "sponsor me now" button below via credit or debit card. You can be assured that your transaction on the mycharity.ie website is very secure. You will automatically receive an e-mail from me thanking you for your support, and acknowledging the amount of your donation. Any donation no matter how small is hugely appreciated.
Many thanks in advance for your support,
Dublin Simon, on behalf of Paul |
About my charity
Dublin Simon Community
Dublin Simon Community has been working since 1969 to combat homelessness in Dublin. Founded in 1969 by a group of students from Trinity and UCD, Dublin Simon Community has developed since those days to work with over 2,000 people every year. We help the most vulnerable in our society to break the vicious cycle of homelessness by empowering them to take control of their lives with the purpose of finding and maintaining a place they can call home. For many this starts with a cup of soup, a friendly face and a safe and warm space to spend the night. Our Vision Everyone who is homeless, or is at risk of becoming homeless has the support they need to access and maintain a home of their own. Our Mission To provide high quality services to the most marginalised homeless persons to eliminate long-term homelessness.
