My Personal Message
Hi Guys,
Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page. The Camara Education charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity.
I'll be travelling to Kenya for the month of August, providing basic IT training to Kenyan teachers, to allow them to bring IT education into the classroom.
Please read a few words about the charity that I have chosen to support below. You can donate using the "sponsor me now" button below via credit or debit card. You can be assured that your transaction on the mycharity.ie website is very secure. You will automatically receive an e-mail from me thanking you for your support, and acknowledging the amount of your donation. Any donation no matter how small is hugely appreciated.
Many thanks in advance for your support,
Neil |
About my charity
Camara Education
Camara Education (www.camara.ie) is an Irish charity that uses technology to enhance the education system in Africa. The mission of Camara can be best described by the old Chinese proverb - “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him to fish and feed him for a lifetime”. In that spirit Camara believes that education is the key to helping Africans break out of the severe poverty they find themselves in. Camara uses the enormous technological resources in Ireland to directly help schools, colleges and community centres in Africa.
