My Personal Message

Hey Guys,

Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page. I am half way through training for the Dublin City Half Marathon and will be running a five kilometre and ten kilometre race on the way.. Who knows there is speculation that I might even run the Dublin City Marathon in October! But for now I'm looking for sponsorship for the half city marathon.
The Susie Long Hospice Fund charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity. Hospice care is something that everyone should have access to at the end of their days and we will all face a situation albeit ourselves or indirectly through loved ones where we need a comfortable and supportive environment to die.

Susie Long Hospice Fund
 The Susie Long Hospice Fund (SLHF) was set up in October 2007 to provide the highest possible quality of end-of-life care for patients and their families through the establishment of a 10-bed hospice close to Carlow/Kilkenny General Hospital. The Fund plans to meet this challenge through fundraising, increasing awareness of the need and benefits of local hospice care and by lobbying Government for support.
