My Personal Message Hey Guys,Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page. The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity. Over the next 3 years the plan is to complete 40 Marathons in 40 Months, culminating in the Dublin Marathon in 2013 which will be my 100th Marathon. I also intend to do numberous other events over the 3 year period both running and also some more mentally challenging events. 100% of this money is going directly to those who need it most the People with CF. Cystic Fibrosis is Ireland's most common genetically inherited disease. In ireland, we have the highest incidence of the disease in the developed world, with 1 in 19 members of the population being carriers of the recessive CF gene. It is when two carriers of the recessive gene parent a child together, there is a 1 in 4 risk of the child having the disease. There is no cure at present for this disease.
