My Personal Message

Dear Friends,

Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page. I decided to raise money for St Vincent De Paul (SVP) because they were very good to my Mom in her elder years. They would often call to visit her and help her out in other ways. My Mom died tragically in 2007. Whenever I think of SVP, I immediately think of her.
SVP help people in need. Those who are caught in the poverty trap, who dont know if they will have a dinner today or a roof over their head. The St Vincent De Paul charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for them.

I am cycling from Mizen Head to Malin Head (from the bottom of Ireland to the top). Its a journey of about 800km and I am doing this cycle solo over about a week. I will use hostels along the way and hope to complete about 100km per day. I think the biggest challenges will be the Irish weather and the fact that I'm doing this alone.
