My Personal Message

Hi,
Thank you for visiting my webpage. Hopefully you will have heard a little bit about the Niall Mellon Township Trust-it is an amazing Charity; there is more info in the section below.

This will be my first time heading out with the team I am looking forward to it, I know it will extremely hard work and often distressing, but it’s a chance to make a real difference to families in the Townships of South Africa.

We’re travelling out to Cape Town in November and aiming to raise €5000 each. I know times are tight for everyone, but even a little donation will go a long way to help families have a home for the first time and for children to get a new start and a brighter future.

We plan to host a number of fundraising events over the next few months- so please keep an eye out- it’ll be a chance to help a very worthwhile cause and have fun too!

Niall Mellon Township Trust


The Niall Mellon Township Trust was started by Niall Mellon in 2002. The aim of the charity is to build quality social housing for impoverished families living in shacks in the townships of South Africa.




  • The charity operates a year round house building programme.


  • We are now the largest charity provider of quality social housing in South Africa.


  • Since the charity first started it has built 13,500 homes and that figure continues to grow.
