My Personal Message

Hey Guys,

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. You know every now and then I try to get a few quid together for different charities and this year I have decided to torture myself around the Dublin Marathon circuit again. I completed the event a couple of years back for the Waterford Hospice and this time I have chosen The Irish Heart Foundation as a very worthy cause. I would really appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity.

Please read a few words about the charity that I have chosen to support below. You can donate using the "sponsor me now" button below via credit or debit card. You can be assured that your transaction on the mycharity.ie website is very secure. You will automatically receive an e-mail from me thanking you for your support, and acknowledging the amount of your donation. Any donation no matter how small is hugely appreciated.

Many thanks in advance for your support,

Jonathan

About my charity

Irish Heart Foundation

The Irish Heart Foundation works hard to prevent people developing cardiovascular disease and to support those affected by it. Our charity is the only national charity working to reduce death and disability from heart disease and stroke. We are 91 per cent funded by public donations.

Nearly 10,000 lives are lost to this disease in Ireland every year - that's 27 people a day - and thousands more are left with disability as a result of stroke. By making a donation to our charity, you are helping to make life better for people affected by cardiovascular disease.
