My Personal Message Hi EveryoneThe Saplings Schools for Children with Autism charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity. Saplings is a specialist school for children with autism - in the more severe range, who need tailored individual support to help them learn using their strengths and interests. This specialist support must be planned and measured and to do this we have one Supervisor for every 12 children in the school. The Supervisor works with the Senior Tutor in each classroom to create a curriculum for each child in liaison with the family. This can incorporate Life Skills, Personal Care and Hygiene, Personal Safety, Speech and Language, Occupational therapy and Academic tasks in line with the national curriculum. The Second Supervisor is funded entirely through parent fundraising as an additional member of staff You can read more about the charity below.
