My Personal Message Hey Guys/LadiesAs you may be aware last year Ken Whitelaw and I completed the unique challenge of running 32 marathons in just 32 days around Ireland. Over the Winter months, I thought long and hard about my next challenge. I wanted to find do something shorter but even HARDER. After much research and consideration, I found a very unique event, a DECA Ironman challenge ( 10 IRONMAN Distance TRIATHONS in 10 days). This event is being held from June 03rd to June 12th in the New Forest , Avon Tyrell in the south of England. Each day myself and the other 19 other competitors will enter the water at 6am. After swimming 2.4 miles (3.8km) we will then attempt to cycle 112 miles (180km). Once these first two discliplines are finished we STILL have to run a full marathon of 26.2 miles (42km) The cut-off each day is 22 hours. If you miss the cut-off you are disqualified. Further details are available at www.enduroman.com. If at all possible I am asking people to donate a euro a day or more (10 for the 10 days). All monies raised go to Irish Autism Action.
