My Personal Message Hey Guys,Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for this charity. Next year, specifically next May, I intend to complete the pilgrim route from St Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostella in Northern Spain. This is an ancient road that has been traveled by pilgrims for over a thousand years. Walking it will be a challenge, but it's one that I've been contemplating for a long time. As well as doing it for myself, I would love to undertake this journey in the knowledge that it might also be of help to others, specifically older people. Alzheimers is a disease that robs sufferers of the latter part of their lives. I think this is very sad. Why should any lived life fall into such a decline? I will do the walk anyway, but if you can get on board and help me raise money for the Alzheimers Society, I would really appreciate that. I've already done one walk in which I raised funds for this charity. Although considerably less ambitious, it felt great to be able to assist others as well as getting out there.
