My Personal Message Hey Guys,Thanks for visiting our personal fundraising page. The CONSOLE - (Suicide Bereavement & Prevention Service) charity is a very worthy cause and I would very much appreciate your support in helping us to raise funds for this charity. Console Rowathon team are : Gerard Tiernan, John Tiernan, Gordon Rushe, Damien Mellet This event will be a very tough relay event taking place over a 24 hour period, with 2 guys rowing at all times over this time for a period of 1 hour each session.The event will be taking place in Athlone Town Centre starting at 4pm on the 30th April and will end at 4pm on 1st May, so please call in to cheer us on during this event. This will be a great test of our stamina and endurance and we would be really driven on by your support. Please get your friends and family also to help us raise money for Console and also raise awareness for this really excellent charity who needs as much support as possible. Other events to help raise money and awareness for Console are : On the 26th of March Karma Nightclub will be hosting a night for Console, Karma will be donating the entry fee cost into the club to Console. We wish to say a big Thank You to Karma Niteclub On the 29th of April we be holding a "Remembrance Mass" for those bereaved through suicide. Mass will be held in Coosan Church,Athlone at 8.00pm. This mass is open to everybody and we would be delighted for everybody to attend. We are delighted to support Console and help them out with fundraising. But what is also vital important is that we create awareness of suicide not just in Athlone but all over the country. We need to come together and work as one to ensure that we are there for people who need support and advice. Please read a few words about the charity that we have chosen to support below.
