My Personal Message
Thank you all for your support. I managed to keep silent, with great difficulty and frustration. I will be having more events to raise the remainder of the money to meet my target. Keep your eyes here to find out what else I'll be doing.
Thanks
Aoife
Well what do you think my chances are for staying silent for 24 hours? I'm going to attempt it in order to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. I'll be doing it on Tuesday 26th of October.
Habitat for Humanity is a wonderful organisation that works with people world over (including Ireland) to build decent and suitable housing for those in need. This coming New Year I'll be spending time in Ethiopia building homes with Habitat for Humanity. In order to go on this trip I need to raise approx €2000 (about £1700). This will cover the costs of training, food, flights, accommodation and most importantly a donation to Habitat for Humanity, which will cover the cost of building materials and help pay the wages of the local builders that the team will be working along side.
I'd greatly appreciate it if you could sponsor me any amount for this worthy cause. |
