My Personal Message
UPDATE
Guys,
At 11am on December 25th, Jenny, Mom and I plunged into the icy waters at Portmarnock with an air temperture of -3.5 degrees celsius! I will officially NEVER moan about the cold again!
Joined by our family for support, hugs, hot water bottles and flasks of hot port and mulled wine, we completed our challenge which saw us raise over 1000 Euro (and counting!) for St Francis Hospice Raheny!
Thanks to all who have supported us and to those who donated! Donations still welcome!!!
So well done Mom and Jen, who were silly enough to join me!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for visiting our personal fundraising page. The St. Francis Hospice charity is a very worthy cause and one very close to our hearts! Our Gog's/Dad who many of you will have known passed away very peacefully and with dignity at St. Francis Hospice in Raheny on February 20th 2008. This is our second Christmas without the man who looked like Santa Claus and made our Christmas dinner! We as a family will be forever indebted to the staff and volunteers of St. Francis' Hospice for their kindness and compassion they showed my Gogs and my whole family! Their dedication and work is selfless and unfortunately necessary. We hope you and your family will never require their service, but if you do they will treat you, your loved one and family with respect and sensitivity. We understand times are tough at present, but people are still ill and require these services. Any donations, no matter how small are appreciated!
In appreciation and in order to raise money Mom, Jenny and I are going to brave the Irish Sea on December 25th! To anyone who does not know me well I am a cold creature and have not swam in Irish waters in over two years! But on this day we can do this for our Gogady and for the staff and volunteers of St Francis Hospice Raheny!
Please read a few words about the charity that I have chosen to support below. You can donate using the "sponsor me now" button below via credit or debit card. You can be assured that your transaction on the mycharity.ie website is very secure. You will automatically receive an e-mail from me thanking you for your support, and acknowledging the amount of your donation. Any donation no matter how small is hugely appreciated.
Many thanks in advance for your support,
Go raibh míle maith agaibh,
Amy, Carole and Jen
