Raise money for Cycle4Haiti with a Personal Fundraising Page
…Cycle4haiti, 228 km, and a fundraising goal of €300,000... The Cycle4haiti is a 228 km charity cycle to Galway starting from four different locations Dublin, Sligo and Cork and Carlow to raise much need funds for the work of The Soul of Haiti Foundation. It is a cycle that is full of fun, comradeship and determination that attracts cyclists from all walks of life and of very varying levels of fitness. Motivated by both the continued devastation in Haiti and the positive results that our efforts are having, we want to have at least 500 people join us on this year’s cycle on the 4th & 5th of May 2013. And have set ourselves a target to raise between €200k and €300k. There will be three different starting points at 8am on the Saturday 4th May – Dublin, Sligo, Cork and Carlow, all converging on Athlone for the first night. The next morning, the Sunday 5th May all three groups will join together in one very big peloton for Galway city arriving mid afternoon. Everything you need to know about this great cycle should be here on this site if not just drop us a line and we will be happy to help. Everyone is welcome to join this cycle no matter what your fitness level and thanks to the great support team you are minded and cheered on every step of the way. We take care of everything for you and your bike including accommodation, coach transfers, dinners, lunches and all the other ingredients to have a great weekend. All we ask is that you attend one of the mandatory training sessions so you can be sure you are able for the cycle and also have a decent road bike for the cycle itself, raise the necessary funds and enjoy yourself. Organized by The Gift Voucher Shop’s Bikes4work scheme (www.bikes4work.ie) the event will be followed by local and regional media coverage, a social media campaign, fortnightly newsletters and online newsroom. Please see cycle4haiti.com for more information or to register now!
