Valentines Ball in aid of Cancer Research Aware - Harbour2Harbour Walk Valentines dip in the nip!
A Valentines Ball fundraiser in aid of cancer research will take place on Saturday 11th February at Fota Island Hotel Golf & Spa Resort in Cork.

The black tie event, organised by Breakthrough Cancer Research in aid of Cork Cancer Research Centre, is now in its 21st year and is one of the highlights of the Cork social calendar.

Tickets cost €125 per person.

The 7th annual St Patrick's Day Harbour2Harbour Walk takes place on March 17th. It is 16 mile or 8 mile walk around Dublin Bay it's your choice of distance & whether you begin at Howth Harbour and walk to Dun Laoghaire Harbour, or vice versa. The walk starts at 10.30am from each harbour and takes approximately 5 hours to complete.

 The first ever Valentines Dip in the Nip takes place on a beach in Galway Bay on Sunday, 26th February, with Hand in Hand, a childrens cancer charity that operates all along the west coast from Donegal to Limerick. While the Dip is aimed primarily at couples, it is for anybody who is comfortable in mixed company.
