Pieta House – the Centre for the Prevention of Self-Harm or Suicide, is Ireland’s only organisation dedicated specifically to the prevention of suicide in our community. We also work with adults and children who self-harm and although our work is so vitally important, we receive very little funding. In fact, we receive only 10% of the €800,000 it takes to fund our service annually. The other 90% we have to raise ourselves. And believe it or not, our service is completely free of charge.

This is why we are asking you to help us. There are many simple ways for you to make a difference – a coffee morning at home, a Dress Down Day at work, imitating a Come Dine With Me evening some weekend. Such little effort on your part would mean so much to us in Pieta House. Not only would you be raising much needed funds for us, but you would be raising awareness of our service.
