Streetwise Buildings

Streetwise Buildings work in the poorest of communities of South Africa.

This year they are starting their 4th volunteering project running from June-December 2011.

This project involves building an Educare Centre to provide vital healthcare, food and education for 3-8 year old children in the township of Delft, South Africa.

We work with organisations on the ground in the poorest of communities. We combine our efforts with existing charities that are working in the townships to identify the  building needs of the community and raise funds & volunteers  so we can carry out their design and construction.  

This years project on completion will be run by the Salesian Sisters who have a station in Delft for the last twenty years.
