In 2009, with your help, proceeds from the Triathlon will enable us to provide funding to the Niall Mellon Trust for the building of a new hall for school children in Wallacedene, Cape Town, South Africa. 

WIth more than 700 schools in Cape Town it seemed an incredible opportunity for us to build the very FIRST School Hall - a facility that will be used for extra-curricular activities essential to the enrichment of the education of thousands of hugely disadvantaged kids. 

WIth your help, the children of Wallacedene will get to enjoy and benefit from engaging in the type of things we take for granted in our own schools at home.  Things like participating in a school play, or showing off their capabilities in the performing arts, debating, dancing or gymnastics.  It's a unique opportunity for us to make a significant difference for children in a truly deprived area of Cape Town.
