The Transformation Project: Bring the Smock Alley Theatre Back to Life

Smock Alley Theatre is well on it’s way to it’s former glory, but it needs your support and encouragement.

The renovations work began on Monday, 4th April and will be completed by the 3rd September 2011. The cost of renovating and reinstating Smock Alley Theatre has been greatly suppported by the Irish Government and a number of private donations.

We still need to raise €350,000 to finish the project. We need your support!

Smock Alley is a registered charity and any donation you make will go towards the restoration costs.
The development involves: 

• Provision of a 212 seat and 52 standing capacity Multipurpose Theatre

• Provision of a 100 seat Studio Theatre

• Provision of a 70 standing performance space

• Provision of Three Rehearsal Studios 

• Provision of bar facilities 

• Provision of office accommodation 

A 3-d visualisation of the building has been designed based on the architectural plans produced by O’Keefe Architects.
