Paralympics Ireland

Paralympics Ireland is a registered charity which is responsible for selecting, preparing and managing Ireland's team at the Paralympic Games. Held every four years in parallel with the Olympic Games, this is the premier multisport event for elite athletes with a disability.

Irish Paralympic athletes are currently building towards the once-in-a-lifetime "Home Paralympic Games" of London 2012. We receive valuable funding from the Irish Sports Council and valued corporate partners, but we require additional support to ensure Irish medal-winning successes in London and beyond.

Our “Gold 2012” appeal aims to raise €500,000 before August 2012. So if you're planning on fundraising or taking part in an event for charity, we'd be delighted if you'd consider doing so on behalf of Irish Paralympic athletes.  (For further information, please click on "Details".)
